Maternity Pictures

I had maternity pictures done back about three weeks before Addie was born, and I just got the disk yesterday. A couple small mix ups landed the disk of pictures just sitting on a desk for a bit. Oh well... Either way I have them now, and they are nothing short of amazing!

I am really glad we took the time to have them done since I have always wanted maternity photos done, and it was our last chance. There are seriously so many great pictures, I want to share them... but I have to some what limit the amount of pictures I am going to post. LOL


Ok so... I posted a ton still! LOL There were just so many good pictures! A couple side notes... Ben didn't want to be there... Camden was a cheeseball that wanted to be in every picture, and Will... well it looks like its painful for him to smile in some of the pictures. He doesn't really do the smile on cue thing.

Overall I love them! I cant wait to get some printed and framed!

Fried Chicken and Tutu Pants

Because they go hand-in-hand right? Not so much, but it kind of sums up the past two days! Last night I made my famous fried chicken, and these new Parmesan crusted french fries that I found on Pinterest... and dinner came out delish!

Since I came across this site, I am super into cooking and baking all over again!



Yes! Even the boys LOVED it! Normally picky eaters (these days) cleared their plates, so I must be doing something right!

Then while doing some of Addisons laundry I came across a pair of Tutu pants I totally forgot she had... so I made sure I kept them out for her to wear today. I love dressing the boys, but nothing beats a good tutu...


Who doesn't love a good pink frilly outfit? I know I do!

Family Walk

Since I am feeling better, and up to going for walks, Will and I decided we are going to try and go on family walks as much as our schedules will allow in the evenings after dinner. We started this a couple nights ago when this amazing weather finally started!

Addie stayed in the stroller for about 10 minutes and Daddy carried her the rest of the way.

Ben was the only one who stopped long enough to let me sneak a picture of him... well besides Addie since she can't really run away. LOL
Camden had a blast too!

I am looking forward to getting a little more brave and heading over to the next town over and their new beautiful Riverwalk.

Steph & Dan's Wedding

Saturday night Will and I went to our good friends Steph and Dan's wedding. This is something we have all been planning since last year sometime, and it was a blast! I did their engagement pictures last May, and I was so happy to see them all over the place. LOL

That is probably by far the best picture I did of them... anyways. We had a blast. It was a great night out without kids for Will and I. Something we don't do too often, but seriously need to focus on more often. Gotta keep things fresh and sexy!


I got all dressed up, and a friend of mine who recently graduated from makeup artist school? did my make up. I felt like a new person! I also had my hair cut and dyed on Friday so it really helped a ton. A great self esteem boost for just having a baby!

The wedding was beautiful... and a blast. I can't wait to see the pictures. My husband was the highlight of the dance floor. He wore Dan's Dads stetson cowboy hat the majority of the night... it was priceless to say the least!

Today we had Ben's 2nd birthday party... Small, and special... while Will and I were still recovering from the Wilson's Wedding last night! (Whole other post in itself!)

We had a great time with our family and friends. Now, for some much needed sleep all around! I think I could sleep for a week after this weekend... just in time for Memorial Day weekend next weekend which is going to be JUST as busy!

Growing Like A Weed!

Today Addie went for her 3 week weigh in. We have been watching her weight since birth because she was such a peanut, but she seems to be growing like a weed! Here are her stat's thus far:

Birth : 5lbs 12oz
Hospital Discharge: 5lbs 9oz
1 week weigh in : 5lbs 13oz
3 week weigh in : 6lbs 15.5oz which they rounded up to 7lbs!

For the first time out of all three of the children, I am 100% confident in breastfeeding, and know she is getting exactly what she needs!

She is also up to 19 3/4 inches from 19 inches at birth!

Happy Birthday Ben!

Today my baby boy Benjamin Emil turns 2! Which of course I cannot believe at all. He is so amazing, bright, funny, and strong! He has taught me so many lessons on parenting, and being flexible... He really is a testament to the case that even the best laid plans don't pan out.

I could not imagine my life without his amazing smile in it everyday!




In the past year we have accomplished so much... Graduating from Birth to Three, walking, crawling, talking... everything! Ben has really come into his own bold personality, and even looking through all these pictures, you can see how much he has not only grown in size, but how grown up he looks now!
